Rockford Utilities Board, Inc. owns and services the Rockford, Equality, and Parker Creek areas. Lake Mitchell Water company owns and services the Lake Mitchell area. Lake Mitchell Water contracted Rockford Utilities Board, Inc. to maintain their meters and billing/payment system. Lake Mitchell Water customers will continue to make payments payable to Lake Mitchell Water. There will be a separate Pay Online Link for Lake Mitchell Water Customers.
To Report a Water or Gas Leak after office hours please call the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office at 256-377-4922 and they will dispatch one of the Water Service employees.
FEES :
$250.00 Tampering Fee – Damage to lock, meter, or valve due to customer tampering.
$40.00 Return Payment.
Cut off for Non-payment – Customers must pay the reconnect fee plus their bill by 2:45 pm in order for their water to be turned back on the same day.
